1 (12 ounce) package of vegetarian burger crumbles1 (1 ounce) packet beef and onion dry soup mix1/2 c bread crumbs1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable (or canola) oil2 eggs, beaten1/2 tsp garlic powdersalt and pepper to tastesauce ingredients: 1/2 cup ketchup1/3 cup brown sugar1 tsp dry mustard1/4 tsp allspice1/4 tsp ground cloves
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In large bowl, mix together the burger crumbles, onion soup mix, and bread crumbs. Stir in oil and eggs, and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to blend in seasoning. Spread into the prepared loaf pan.
3) Bake for 30-45 minutes in the preheated oven or until firm.
Meatloaf sauce:
Mix together the ingredients and place it on top of the meatless loaf for the last 15-20 minutes of baking.
Serving Size: Makes 8 even slices of loaf
