Pantry Pasta w/ Chick Peas

Ingredients
Olive OilOnion- dicedShallots-choppedGarlic-mincedBlack Olives-slicedChick PeasTomato PasteDiced Canned TomatoesOregano-1/2 tsp driedBasil-1 Tbsp driedWhole Wheat Spaghetti-cooked Parmesan Cheese-optional
Directions
Heat oil in medium skillet over medium heat, add onions, shallots, garlic, black olives, and chick peas, saute for 5 minutes. Meanehile cook pasta as directed on package.

To vegetables in shillet add and mix in tomato paste, then add diced tomatoes. Simmer on low un-covered for 10 minute.

Drain pasta and add to skillet mixing all ingredients. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese (optional). Serve hot makes 3 servings.
