Ingredients
8 oz ground beef1/2 c chopped onion1 clove garlic15.5 oz kidney beans8 oz tomato sauce 14 oz diced tomatoes1/2 c elbow macaroni1/4 c water added to bean juice 1 T chili powder1/2 t salt1/4 t pepper1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
IN SAUCEPAN, COOK GROUND BEEF, ONION, GARLIC UNTIL MEAT IS BROWN. DRAIN FAT. DRAIN LIQUID FROM BEANS AND MEASURE TO EQUAL 1/2 CUP LIQUID AND WATER. STIR KIDNEY BEANS, TOMATOES, SAUCE, UNCOOKED MACARONI, CHILI POWDER, SALT, AND PEPPER. BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT. COVER AND SIMMER FOR 25-30 MINS, STIRRING OFTEN. SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE. SERVE WARM.
