Minestrone

Ingredients
V-8 Veg. Juice, 46 oz1 lb ground meatWater 2 c.Cabbage, 2 c fresh, shreddedBasil, 1 TSpicy Chili beans (if desired)Barley 1/3 c.Elbow Macaroni 1/2 cFrozen mixed vegs 1 10 oz pkg
Directions
Cook meat until browned. Drain and rinse. Stir in frozen vegs, juice, water, basil and barley. HEat to boiling. Simmer 20 min. Add cabbage, beans and macaroni. Cook until tender. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
