Ingredients
**you will need a nice ripe banana, if you have one that has just started to get brown marks works well. **about a cup of ice cubes**milkand vanilla extract...this and your ripe banana is what makes it taste awesome!
Directions
Take your ice and banana and throw into blender, add your milk to the top line of the ice and blend to grate, this may take stopping and starting using a spoon to get all ice grated up well. Add straw when smooth and wa-lah a treat for the whole family. I grew up on these, we never had icecream in the freezer, and I had to have one everyday. and big bonus... it's good for you! you can add a tablespoon of nestle quick if you want a chocolate banana milkshake too!

That was SO good!.... well it is.. as I'm drinking it right now. This is truly amazing, and I even added like twice the amount of milk that I should have... I also added a bit of nonfat raspberry yogurt and a tsp of peanut butter :) - 5/25/08

We used to make this when I was a kid and now I make it for my kids all the time. I love it! It fills me up and there's no guilt! Can also be sweetened more with Stevia, if you'd like. - 5/2/08

I can't believe I never thought of doing this before! I loved it! I also made one with a scoop of smooth peanut butter and ovaltine for a peanut butter chocolate milkshake. It didn't taste like banana at all! For an ice cream fanatic like me, this is my new-healthy splurge :) - 1/30/08
