Ground Beef Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
1 large onion, chopped3/4 cup ground beef, lean1 16-oz package mixed vegetables32 oz chicken broth24 oz chopped tomatoes8 oz tomato sauce
Directions
Brown beef and onions in a large soup pot. Add one clove of garlic, crushed, if desired. Add rest of ingredients. Season as desired with salt, pepper, oregano, basil. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 60 minutes.
