Fried Rice with Beef and Chicken

1 cup uncooked white rice2 Tbsp butter, optional8 oz beef sirloin, cooked4 oz chicken, cooked0.5 cup lima beans or peas0.5 cup carrots0.75 cup (1 stalk) celery3 Tbsp canola oil4 Tbsp soy sauce
Precook rice with butter. (see tips)
Cut up precooked beef and chicken.
Dice carrots and celery.
Heat a wok or deep skillet.
Add oil then add cutup meats and saute for several minutes.
Add desired seasonings and mix well. (see tips)
Add vegetables. Stir and mix well for several minutes.
Add rice, mix well until heated through.
Serving Size: makes 4 servings
