Daqoos (Spicy Tomato and Garlic Sauce)

1 tbsp olive oil4 large tomatoes (4 cups) chopped4 cloves of garlic1 tbsp of tomato paste1 tsp salt1/4 tsp or more of red chili powder (kashmiri chili powder is what i use)1 cup of waterNote: for the tomatoes you can use shred the tomatoes. Cut tomato in half and shred until you are left with just the skin/peel. Throw away the peel and use the shredded pulp.
In medium pot, add the olive oil and heat.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy and slightly golden brown edges.
Add garlic. Stir.
Add salt and chili powder. Stir.
Add water, stir, and cook until reduced just a bit. The sauce should be thick.
