Ingredients:Great Value, Chunk Chicken Breast, cooked, 354 grams/ 12.5 oz canHominy, 439 grams/ 15.5 oz can*Green Chili Peppers, canned, 1 cup/ 7 oz canWhole Milk / Vitamin D, 1 cupOnions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper (not optional, ha! lol)Butter, salted, 1 tbsp *Flour, white, .1250 cup/ 2 tbspSalt, 1 tsp (to taste, this is a lot of salt).Pepper, black, .25 tsp/ to tasteOregano, ground, 1 tbsp, or so' Rubbed Sage, 1/2 tsp, or so'Chicken Broth, 32 fl oz, fat free...
in a deep pot, Melt butter, add flour and stir to mix rue'. Add milk to keep rue thin enough to cook without lumping up. Then, pour in the chicken broth (careful to leave room for the remaining ingredients--i used a pot that was a little small for this, and had to eat a bowl before adding all the broth.. ha!) Next add the can ingredients and spices (easy on the salt...). Last i cut up my onion and minced my jalapeno and threw them. Cook for around 15 minutes. enjoy.
