ok here is the list very simple3-5 lemons5 springs of rosemary (fresh)3 springs of thym (fresh)salt to tastepepper to tastea whole garlic head, just semi crush1-2 onionsfit everything in a herb bag (for convenience) and stuff the duck/chicken/goose with it.
Squeeze the lemons over the duck (after you wash it), rub the herbs but dont break them, add salt and pepper. Bath the bird in the juice, and then fit all the ingredients (except the duck) in a herb bag (for convenience) or directly in the cavity and stuff the duck/chicken/goose with it. Roast for 1h30 or more, until cooked. No real need to let it marinade.
