CHEFMOM Perfection Pound Cake - Not Low Fat But Fabulous!

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour2 1/4 cups cake flour2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp kosher salt16 ounces plugra butter, room temperature1 cup sugar1 cup brown sugar8 large eggs, room temperature1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean Paste
Directions
Beat the butter and sugars at high speed until very light and fluffy (at least 5 minutes). Add eggs one at a time, and beat in each egg 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl often. Add the vanilla bean paste. Add in the flour,baking powder and salt, mixing on low speed and do not over mix. You may want to fold in the last of the flour to make sure of this. Scrape the batter into a buttered loaf pans and smooth the top. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes - check to make sure the top is not getting too browned - if it is, cover it loosely with a foil tent. Bake another 45 minutes - the cakes are done when a thin knife inserted deep into the center comes out clean.
