Microwave Custard

Ingredients
1 1/3 c. 2% milk3 large eggs1/4 c. sugar1/2 tsp vanilla extract1/4 tsp. saltground nutmeg
Directions
Beat eggs in medium bowl with sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir in milk. Pour into four custard cups. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg.

Place custard cups in a circle in microwave. Cook 5 1/2 minutes at 70% power. If not a rotating microwave, turn cups after half of time. Custard will set after removing from mivrowave. Chill before serving.

    This turns out a bit watery, but sets up quickly. Tastes pretty bland, but I added some cinnamon and nutmeg with the rest of the ingredients and that made it a bit better. - 1/4/13
