Crustless Cheeseburger Pie -- low carb

1 lb. extra lean ground beef (88-90% lean)1 egg, beatenSalt, Pepper, and Old Bay to taste2 tsp. minced garlic (1-2 small cloves)1/2 large onion, sliced3 tbsp. no-corn-syrup ketchup2 tbsp. dijon or yellow mustard1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 2.5 ounces)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine the beef, egg, spices, and garlic in a medium bowl and mix until thoroughly combined -- no egg should be visible.
Press the beef mixture into a 9" round pie pan.
Spread the ketchup and mustard on top of the beef, then top with the slices of onion.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil, top with cheddar, and return to oven for another 10-15 minutes or until melty and bubbly.
