French Bread Pudding

Ingredients
1- 1/2 loaf French bread. 2- 4 cup 2% milk3- 2/3 cup granulated sugar4- 6 whole eggs beaten5- 1 teaspoon light butter
Directions
Cut French bread in 1/2 and remove the crust. Slice about 1/2 thick. Add or brush small amount of butter to one side of the bread.
Beat the eggs, add sugar and milk.
Layer an 8x12 glass dish with the bread and pour the mixture over the top.
Use a double boiler.
