WHEAT PILAF WITH TOMATOES

Ingredients
onion diced coarselycup of cracked wheatcup of chick peas cannedcup of canned tomatoes diced with juices1 cup water or chicken broth optionalsalt and pepperHot pepper sauce butter spread and olive oil
Directions
olive oil in 2 quart saucepan and saute onions . Add wheat and cook five minutes longer stirring .
Add all remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes on low. All liquid should be absorbed.
Let it rest for 10 minutes then serve hot.
