Ingredients
3 cups instant rice prepared1 or more- green bell pepper chopped into pieces1/4 cup of onion diced1 lb lean ground beef1 large can (29 oz) Hunt's tomato sauce1 tbs oregano1 tbs garlic powder1 tbs basil1 tbs italian seasoning
Directions
Prepare rice in advance. While rice is setting brown ground beef, onion, and pepper in a pan. When browned, add can of tomato sauce and seasonings. Slowly add rice to combination to get to desired consistency. Consistency is correct when sauce is not too soupy. Rice should be able to blend into skillet easily. You may need to stop adding rice if the sauce is not blending well. Continue to cook over medium heat till peppers are at desired crispness and ingredients are warmed through. This recipe makes 6 medium servings.

It was good, but nothing my kids would eat, so probably won't make very often. - 1/28/08

This is a great recipe but I substituted Ground Turkey for the Ground Beef...lowers the fat and calories a little and still tastes great!!!! - 1/20/08
