Cabbage Beef Soup

Ingredients
1-lb lean ground beef or turkey, browned and drained1 medium cabbage, chopped1 large onion, chopped2 cans (15 oz) chopped tomatoes, juice and all2 cans drained red kidney beans (I have also used 1 can of kidneys and 1 can of black beans)2 cups Swanson's Lower Sodium Beef Broth1 bay leaf1/2 tsp oreganosalt and pepper to tastewater as needed
Directions
Place all ingredients either in a crock pot for 6-8 hours or in a soup kettle for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours covered and slowly simmer. Remove bay leaf before serving.
