Apple Maple Ham Steaks

Ingredients
22 ounces ham steak1/2 tb butter3 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced1/4 cup maple syrup1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp allspice
Directions

In a warm pan melt butter and heat up ham, cooking for a minute or two on each side.

Remove ham from pan and add remaining ingredients.

When apples are soft remove and spoon over ham.

Makes 4 servings. Each serving is about 5-6 ounces of ham and 1/4 of the apple/syrup mixture.

    This was great, although I guessed on quite a few things. I put the ham in a 9x13 @ 350 for four minutes a side. Removed ham and put it on hold/warm in the mircro while the apples baked. The apples took 15-20 minutes to get soft. - 9/29/11

    What are the rest of the directions. Do I finish cooking the ham on the stove top or in the oven? Doesn't it take longer then 2 min to cook? - 12/14/09
