3-step strawberry layer cheesecake

Ingredients
2 packages 8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened1/2 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon vanilla2 eggs 1/2 cup strawberry jam5 drops red food coloring1 ready-to-use graham cracker crust
Directions
-mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix until mix until blended. stir preserves and food coloring into 1 cup of the bater.
-pour strawberry batter over crust. top with remaining plain batter.
-bake at 350 F for 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Garnish with thawed cool whip and fresh strawberries.

    This was special request by my daughter for her birthday and it was a hit. A perfect balance of sweetness. I did use canned strawberries for the topping just for times sake. My mom doesn't even like strawberries and she loved it. Fast and easy too! - 3/18/17
