Sam's Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
16oz bag of Split Green Peas .5 Yellow Onion - roughly chopped5 Cloves of garlic- smashed to remove the skin2 tsp dried thyme2 tsp olive oil5 cups of water(optional) Ham - cubbed
Directions
Add peas, chopped onion, garlic, and thyme to the crockpot.
Drizzle with a little olive oil.
Add water.
Add ham (optional).

Cook ingredients in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.
Stir occasionally.
