Traditional Mexican Salsa
- Minutes to Prepare:
- Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
Directions
1 lg tomato chopped into small squares3 cloves garlic minced1 bushel cilantro chopped fine3 jalapeno peppers chopped fine1 lemon squeezed1 small can of tomato sauceabout 1/2 cup water
Depending on what you are using this for it should serve approx 6-8 people.
Chop all fresh ingredients, put in medium bowl. Add lemon, tomato sauce and slowly add water to your desired consistency. If you refrigerate it, it will get alot thicker! You can change amounts based on your tasted, but if you put too many peppers, you never seem to be able to make it less spicy no matter how much extra stuff you throw in there!
