Meat Sauce

Ingredients
2 lbs lean ground beef4 large cans diced tomatoes1 large bag frozen chopped spinach1/2 bag frozen diced onions1/2 bag frozen diced peppers and onions1/3 cup italian seasonings2 tbsp olive oil1/2 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp salt
Directions
in large skillet add olive oil, diced onions and peppers. cook until just slightly translucent.
add beef and brown with vegetables (vegetables will continue to cook).
once the beef is browned, transfer mixture to large pot and add 4 large cans of diced tomatoes, spinach, salt, herbs and cinnamon. bring to a simmer and let cook on medium-low for 6-8 hours stirring occasionally (about every half hour or so is fine), and adding water occasionally if needed to keep it from getting too thick.

serve over pasta!
