Dan's Indian Chicken and Chickpeas

Ingredients
chicken leg & thigh (skin removed) 2Canola Oil, .5 tbsp Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Garlic, 2 cloves (predssed)Ginger Root, 2 tsp (grated)Coriander seed, ground 1 tsp Cumin seed ground, 1 tbsp Ground tumeric, 1 tsp Ground Cayenne Pepper, 0.125 tsp Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1 cup Chicken Broth [Knorr's Simply Chicken] 1-2 cupsSpinach, fresh, 4 cupGreek plain yoghurt, 1/8cCilantro, raw, 4 tbsp
Directions
In heavy oven proof pan, brown chicken in oil, remove to plate, reduce heat cook onions, add spices, then chickpeas and broth. add browned chicken, cover and cook in 325F oven for 45-55 min. Remove chicken to warm platter, cover. Add spinach, remove from heat, let wilt 5-7 min. Add yoghurt, season with salt. Do not overheat or yoghurt will curdle. Add Chicken to warm and serve.
