Fibre - rinse before cooking.1 c. green split peas, cooked 30 mins.1 c. barley, cooked 30 mins.1 c. red lentils, cooked 10 mins.cook all in the same pot, just add lentils at the very end. Rinse/cool/drain before adding dresssing.Dessing - mix together1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil1/4 c. sweet white wine or sweet rice vinegar1/4 c. dried parsley/mint combination1/4 c. fresh cilantro choppedAdd diced veggies:1/2 c. ea red onion, celery, carrot, pepper, corn of your choice/combination1 can drained/rinsed chick peas or romano beans or bean of your choice.Salt and pepper to your taste.Optional Toppings when serving:shredded cheesecrisp baconcooked chicken
