French Onion Soup with Stew Beef Chunks

Ingredients
Onions, raw, 3 large sliced thinlyBeef, tenderloin, 1 lb cut into bite size chunks Soup, bouillon cubes and granules, low sodium, dry, 5 bouillon cubes disolved in a 2 cups of hot waterButter, salted, .5 stick *Splenda Brown Sugar Blend, 2 tsp Water, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz)Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices Garlic, 2 tsp minced is best
Directions
Cook the Onions in the butter until they are golden brown and carmelized. Transfer these to a slow cooker. Then add the mushrooms, beef, garlic, and brown sugar, and brown for several minutes. Transfer this also to the slow cooker. Add the beef broth and the extra water to the slow cooker. Cook on high for about 2 hours and then turn to low for another 2 hours.
