Ingredients
3 cups water, divided1 cup peeled, diced ginger1/2 cup sugar1/4 cup cane sugar2 cups club soda, chilled2 tbsp lime juice
Directions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add ginger, and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes, then strain liquid, discarding ginger pieces.
Seperately, dissolve sugars into remaining cup of boiling water. Set aside.
Combine ginger and sugar mixtures and chill until very cold.
To serve, add club soda and lime juice to the syrup mixture and divide between 4 glasses.
