Crock Pot Butter Chicken

Ingredients
4 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs (mine were frozen solid)1 onion, sliced6 garlic cloves, chopped4 tablespoons butter15 cardamom pods (sewn together!)2 teaspoons curry1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper2 teaspoons garam masala1/2 teaspoon ground ginger1 (260 ml) can coconut milk (I used light)1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste2 tablespoons lemon juice1 cup plain yogurt (to add at the end, I used fat free)Read more at: https://www.food.com/recipe/indian-butter-chicken-slow-cooker-396711?oc=linkback
Directions
Cook onions and garlic in about 1tbsp of the butter till translucent. Add spices and cook for a few minutes with stirring to let spices bloom.

Put chicken in crock pot. Put all other ingredients on top of chicken. Cook 4hrs on high in crock pot. Serve with jasmine rice.
