Pork Shoulder BBQ pulled-pork

Ingredients
4 lbs pork shoulder roast1 onion, chopped1 bottle of beer (or ginger ale)1 Cup Barbeque Sauce
Directions
Spread half of the chopped onion on the bottom of the crockpot. Add the shoulder roast and spread remaining onions over roast. Finally add a bottle of beer (or ginger ale). Cook on low for 8 hours.

After 8 hours, remove roast and onions and set aside. Discard all of the remaining liquid in the crock pot. Shred the pork and return it to the crock pot along with the onions. Also, stir in the BBQ sauce then cook on low for another hour or so to let the flavors blend together.

    This was so easy to make and tasted great! I used Ginger Ale instead of beer. I'll try it with beer next time. I served it on some honey wheat rolls - (another SP recipe I found) I will be making this often. - 7/13/13
