Ingredients
Directions
Indian Home Curry Gravy Without Tomato (1srv=1cup), 4 serving (NOT LISTED in recipe - Add separately for tracking calories)*Banana, Raw (1 large = 8" to 8-7/8" long = 136 gms = 1 Cup Fruit), 400 gram(s) *Oil Sunflower, 6 tsp but you will need more for frying. Only 6 tsp will be absorbed. *Besan (Gram Flour), 0.25 cup *Salt - Iodized Sea Salt, 0.25 tsp
Peel bananas. Pressure Cook for ten minutes. Mash. Keep aside. Heat Oil (Only 6 tsp will be used but keep a lot of oil for frying koftas) . Immediately add little bit of besan (very little bit, about half a tea spoon at a time in one kofta) and salt and put into oil for deep frying. It is imp to add besan one kofta at a time or the whole mash becomes wet and you will have to add a lot of besan which tastes like a pakodi and not a kofta. This will make about 15 koftas.
Deep fry koftas. Set aside. Make gravy according to recipe in Indian Home Curry Gravy Without Tomato - that recipe will make 4 cups gravy. 15 koftas in 4 cups gravy is about right consistency for home made food.
