I also used some flour to thicken and would have used low sodium gravy mix. It was a very good light sauce. - 3/6/08

I will cook this one tonight, but I am going to serve it over smart taste noodles and use 1 pkg of mushroom gravy and 1 pkg of brown gravy. I will let you know how it turns out. - 8/10/09

Yummy! I made this last night for my husband and I. I cooked it on the stove top rather than in the slow cooker and it took about 45 minutes. It was tasty and filling! - 8/7/08

This was the best Stroganoff recipe that I tried from this site, won't look any further - liked the combination with the no-yolk noodles. - 5/19/08

I would have paid better attention to sodium. I just ate this and I must say it was okay. I put flour in to thicken. And I maybe would cook this on the stove top next time. I didn't think the slow cooker added and benefits. Other than that very good. Lots left over. - 3/4/08

    I used low sodium gravy mix...otherwise, a little high at 1,200+ mg's. - 2/26/08

I substituted the butter with Pam Olive oil spray, but loved this recipe. The beef was very tender and the flavor was so yummy. I will definately make this again! - 12/17/10

This was amazing! I added the mushrooms in with the beef right away with only half the water (1.5 cups) and then only 1 package of gravy. It turned out amazing! Thank you for submitting this recipe! - 12/12/10
