Vegan "No Butter, No Chicken" Butter Chicken

Ingredients
Ingredients: Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove) Garlic, 3 cloves (remove) Ginger Root, 1 tsp (remove) Tomato Paste, 0.5 cup (remove) Tomato Sauce, 1 cup (remove) *Rooster Brand Coconut Milk, 1 cup (remove) *Chick Peas, 1.5 cup (remove) *Canola Oil, 3 tbsp (remove) Curry powder, 2 tsp (remove) *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp (remove) *Ground Cayanne Pepper, 3 tsp (remove)
Directions
Fry Onions in oil til opaque. Add garlic and ginger and spices. Add tomato paste. Fry for a minute to get paste to a dark red. Add tomato sauce and coconut milk. Whisk together to make it smooth. Add chick peas and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over brown rice.
