½ teaspoon ready to use Garlic (or one clove of fresh garlic, minced)¼ yellow onion chopped3 ounces extra lean ground beef2 teaspoons taco seasoning½ Cup canned diced tomatoes1 Cup shredded cabbage1 oz low fat cheddar cheese1 tablespoon fat-free sour cream1 medium whole wheat tortilla
1. Brown the garlic, onion, and beef in a small skillet. Use medium heat.
2. Stir in seasoning mix and tomatoes with juice.
3. Simmer about 5 minutes.
4. Put the cabbage on top and steam with a lid on the top until the cabbage is tender but still a little crisp, about 5 minutes.
5. Stir the cabbage into the meat mixture and then top with cheese. Cook about 2 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
6. Top with sour cream and serve with a tortilla.
