Crockpot Steel Cut Oats with Apples

2 Large Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped into .5-1" pieces1.5 cups milk (I use 2% Lactaid)Steel Cut Oat, 1 cupButter, salted, 1.5 tbsp-cut into piecesSalt, .25 tspFlax Seed Meal (ground flax), 4 tbsp.25 tsp cinnamonpinch of cardamom
Spray crockpot with non stick cooking spray, all all ingredients to pot and stir. Cook on low overnight, about 7 hours.
