2 pints fresh okra1 tablespoon olive oil1 tablespoon corn mealsalt and pepper to taste
Cut caps off okra and slice lengthwise. Toss in bowl with oil and corn meal to coat. Spread on cookie sheet and season with salt, pepper and other spices as desired. Bake at 425 for about 30 minutes until tender and crisp, but not burned.
