Kale and Lentil Soup

Ingredients
Ingredients:Lentils, 1 cupBrown rice (1 cup cooked), 1 servingLIPTON, RECIPE SECRETS ONION, Mix, Dry, 1 pkkale, raw, 1 bunchCarrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped or slicedAnnie's Organic All Stars, 1 canWater, tap, 6 cup (8 fl oz)
Directions
water, onion soup mix, sliced carrotts, and the chopped stems of the kale into the pot. Boil. When tender, add dry lentils and reduce heat, simmer covered 35 minutes stirring occassionally. Add cooked brown rice, more water if needed. simmer covered 10 minutes. add chopped green parts of kale, remove from heat, stir and serve. the next day, the leftovers get a little thicker and blander, so I added a can of Annies all stars to it and it freshened it right up.
