Kale, potato, leek and turkey bacon soup

2 C Cooked Turkey Bacon2 Leeks1/2 Onion1/3 C. Butter1 C. Black Eyed Peas3 Gold Potatoes1 Box Swansons Chicken BrothWater to taste1 Jalapeno
1) Took turkey bacon, remove and chop coarsely when cool
2) Cook leeks and onion in bacon drippings, add butter and soften well
3) Remove large pieces and half the mixture, and half a box of broth. Puree. return to pot with larger pieces.
4) Add water and broth to taste. Add bacon.
5) Add frozen black eyed peas and cook 30 min.
6) Add coarsely chopped potatoes
7) Cook until tender
8) Add kale and cook desired amount
