Tuver Daal - PBDAVE - Gujarati Style

Ingredients
Ingredients:*Raw Toor dal - 0.5 cup, 0.75 serving Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz)*Plum Tomato, 1 serving *Canola Oil, 2 tbsp Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp *Salt, Sifto Table Salt, 1.25 tsp Ginger Root, 1 tsp *Green chilly / Mirchi, 2 gram(s) *Clove, 1 serving *corriander fresh, .25 cup *Asafoetida / Hing, 0.5 tsp *Mustard Seed, 0.5 tbsp Granulated Sugar, 4 tsp
Directions
Pressure cook Tuver Dal, diced tomato,turmeric, water and salt in a cooker for about 15 min. When cooled open cooker and mix it with mixer well till smooth add about rest of the water, add crushed ginger and chopped green chillie, sugar and let it come to boil. Once it boils for about 5 to 8 min.
Add tadka, with 2 tbsp on canola oil when heated add mustard seed, clove, cinnamon stick and asafoetida and add to tuver dal let it boil for 2 min. garnish with corriander leaves and serve.
