Tuscan Style Pasta e Fagioli

Ingredients
4 slices bacon or Pancetta chopped1/2 onion chopped1 clove garlic crushed and diced4 cups chicken broth2 cups water2 cans cannellini beans1 can Italian style chopped tomatoes3 cups of uncooked ditalini or small round pastatablespoon of italian herbs dash of crushed red peppersplash of red wine of choice
Directions
render chopped bacon, saute' onions and garlic until onions are translucent.
add chicken broth, water, tomatoes and beans. bring to boil
add crushed herbs and splash of wine
reduce heat and simmer for at least 20 min to bring flavours together.
add pasta and cook till pasta is soft and doubles in size.
