Slow Cooker Beef Broth

Ingredients
200g carrots250g dry broth mix (lentils, split peas, pearl barley)100g onion80g parsnips450 g potatoes250 g turnip2 pts water1 beef oxo300 g minced beef (cooked and fat removed)2 tbsp gravy thickener optional (bisto)
Directions
cook and drain beef mince.

Add mince to all prepared veggies, water and stock. Cook on low heat for several hours, thickening towards the end of cooking time if required.
