Crockpot Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
For the chicken:1 package chicken thighs (10), diced1 cup plain greek yogurt1 Tbsp cumin1 Tbsp coriander1 Tbsp salt1 whole jalapenoFor the sauce:1 large onion, diced6 cloves garlic, minced2 inch chunk of ginger root, peeled & minced3 Tbsp garam masala1 28oz can crushed tomatoes1 Tbsp sugar1 tsp salt.25 coconut cream (canned)
Directions
Dice the chicken into inch chunks, empty into crockpot, cover with cumin, coriander, salt and yogurt and toss until well mixed. Stem the jalapeno, slit the sides and place on top.

In large skillet, saute the onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add ginger and garam masala and cook until fragrant (about a minute). Add tomatoes, sugar and salt. Stir until hot.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and mix well. Set crockpot for 4-5 hours on low. At end of cooking time, stir in coconut cream and let sit for 10 minutes.
