Slow Cooker Short Ribs

15 oz Beef short rib 19 oz can Aylmer Diced Tomatoes 1 tbsp Ketchup1.5 tsp dry mustard powder 3 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp Salt .5 tsp Hot Pepper Sauce 1 dash Pepper 1 medium cooking onion, diced
Remove visible fat from short ribs and cut into 5 portions. Brown all sides in 1 tsp oil over medium high heat. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in slow cooker, mixing well. Add browned meat. Pour about 1/4 cup water into pan, and scrape up browned bits. Pour pan scrapings into crock pot. Stir. ensure all meat is just covered with liquid. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 hours.
