Grayce Houston's Vanilla Chocolate Chip Quick Bread

Ingredients
1 & 1/2 sticks of butter1 & 1/4 cups sugar4 eggs1 tbsp. vanilla1 & 1/2 cups flour1 tsp. baking powder6-8 oz mini chocolate chipsOptional: powdered sugar glaze
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well. Add flour and baking powder, and stir until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Transfer batter into loaf pan and spread evenly (batter is thick).

Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the bread. Cool for ten minutes, and transfer bread from pan to a wire cooling rack.

You may finish with a powdered sugar glaze or leave to be enjoyed without glaze.
