Tim's vegetable soup

Directions
roast cruciferous and squash until just soft but not brown. Add to pot with potato, onion and garlic. Add chicken (or vegetable) stock and equal amount of water.Cook until all soft. Blend with stick blender, add ricotta and/or sour cream if desired. Heat to warm enough. Enjoy. VERY satisfying. Use any vegetables you want. Spinach is very good in it too.
