So incredibly easy and my fiance absolutely loved it! The steak was tender and juicy- Paired it with Goya Yellow Rice (added olives, pimientos and capers) and Goya black beans (follow recipe of the can) for an authentic Puerto Rican dinner - 11/2/10

This recipe is absolutely fabulous! The first time i made this my husband loved it and said it reminded him of his grandmothers cooking (Shes Puerto Rican) Since then I have tried this recipe for not only steak but pork chops and beef stew meat as well. Simple yet fabulous recipe! - 8/17/09

I loved it. I also added a bay leaf to it since I like the flavor the bay leaves give to Puerto Rican cooking. - 3/23/12

This is very, very good even though I cut back on the salt. I served this with some really good bread and the whole family enjoyed it. - 8/4/11

Great tasting recipe--made it for a bunch of Puerto Ricans--who raved about it and this is great since I am Jewish. - 7/17/11

This came out pretty good. I did not like the strong taste that the vinegar gave it , I will make again and use much less vinegar. I also added more red bell pepper and red onion. - 5/8/11

Here is a substitute for packet of savon goya that makes approx. 36 servings:
    1 tablespoon msg
    1 tablespoon salt
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground coriander (to taste)
1 teaspoon ground annatto seeds (to taste)
(you can omit the MSG and add nothing or salt if you are sensitive.) - 7/17/10
