Cherry Tomato Pasta

908 grams Red Ripe Tomatoes 227 grams Whole Wheat Spaghetti, cooked (pasta) 2 tbsp Olive Oil 5 clove Garlic 25 leaves Basil .75 tsp Salt .5 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
cook pasta (just under cooked), reserve pasta water
saute garlic until soft on medium heat
add tomatoes and salt, turn up to medium-high heat, cook 2 minutes
add 1/2 cup pasta water, bring mixture to a boil and then reduce to simmer
cook until about 1/2 the tomatoes are burst
remove from heat
add basil and parmesan, toss to coat
add more water if needed
add salt and pepper to taste
add more parmesan as garnish if desired
