Ingredients

1/2 Tbsp. Butter, unsalted2 tsp. Cornstarch3 eggs1 c. Milk, 1%2/3 c. Flour, white1/4 c. Granulated Sugar1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract1/4 tsp Salt2 c. berries of choice (or enough to cover bottom of 2 qt. baking dish - if using strawberries, halve before using)
Butter 2 qt baking dish wiith 1/2 tbsp. of same.
Dust berries with cornstarch til evenly coated and arrange to cover bottom of baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and whisk together to form a pancake - like batter.
Pour batter over berries, and place in preheated 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
Claflouti is done when golden brown and set in the center. (will still be somewhat jiggly).
Serve warm. Dust wth powdered sugar if so desired.
