Navy Bean and Ham Soup (Merlinda's)

3 cup Beans, navy 454 grams Ham, extra lean, (5% fat) 3 medium Carrots, raw 3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 9 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free 2 serving Bay leaves dried (serving size 1 leave) (by BMAKEDA) 3 tsp (C) Garlic, minced (by SHEILAHARVILLE)
Soak beans overnight
Drain and rinse
Add broth (reduce to 4 cans broth for thicker soup) all vegetables and seasonings
Bring to a boil and simmer 45 min - 1.5 hours depending on desired consistency.
