Ingredients
1.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1.5 tbsp Carnation Malted Milk Powder 1.5 tbsp Honey 1 serving Rapid Rise/Instant Yeast- 1 packet (Fleischmann's) (by CHYNADAHLL) 4 cup Flour, white melted buttergarlic salt
Directions
Dissolve honey and malted milk powder into lukewarm water in a large bowl or kitchen aide bowl. sprinkle the yeast on top and let sit for 10 minutes to activate. Add 4 cups of flour, if stirring by hand, add 2 cups, stir then add each additional cup with a stir in between. With mixer add all together and stir with the dough hook attachment. Dough should be damp but not sticky or tacky. Roll into sticks the length of a cookie sheet (think playdough snake), should make 12 full size sticks or 24 half sticks. Cover with damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes. Melt 2 T butter and brush on sticks then sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20-23 minutes.
