Ingredients
Bean SproutsThis recipe calls for 16oz of either soy bean or mung bean sprouts. Alfalfa or other similar sprout will NOT work with this recipe.ScallionsChop the scallions before using in this dish.Sesame oilGet a good, dark sesame oil. Sesame oil should be used sparingly for flavoring only.
Directions
Blanch bean sprouts in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes or until just limp. Remove from boiling water and shock with cold water to stop the cooking process. Drain well. Mix in salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and chopped scallions and let marinate for at least 15 minutes. Serve as a side dish. Goes well with Korean bbq or other marinated, grilled meats.
