apple rhubarb turnovers (crescent rolls)

Ingredients
.75 serving Apple, Gala (medium) 0.5 cup, diced Rhubarb 0.25 cup Cranberries, dried, sweetened (craisins) 2 tsp Domino Light Brown Sugar 1. pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter, unsalted 4 serving Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (1 svg = 2 rolls)
Directions
preheat oven to 350

mix sugar, butter, cranberries
slice apple thinly
dice rhubarb

roll out crescent roll dough and cut into more or less equal squares

place about a tsp of sugar mixture on one side of square, leaving an edge for sealing

place pieces of apple and rhubarb on top of sugar mixture.

place on cookie sheet lined with parchment

brush with egg white or milk; sprinkle with a bit of sugar

bake about 14 or 15 minutes

Serving Size: makes 5 turnovers about 4 inches across
